Switched On Consulting works mainly with the social sector.  We have particular expertise in social care having recently developed a people management website with funding from the Social Care Institute for Excellence.  Our consultants also have a background working with the voluntary sector.

What do you mean by the social sector?

This is the term we came across to cover health, education, housing, social care and community services. Of course we think of these as statutory services, but increasingly they are provided by private and voluntary organisations too. It is unusual to think of all of these services, and organisations, as part of one sector, but we like the idea.
